Hosting

This website is hosted by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (Firebase Hosting). The services behind the application run on the same infrastructure. The app is distributed through the App Store (Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland) and Google Play (Google Ireland Ltd.).

Intellectual property

The content of the Geode application, including its source code, user interface, text, illustrations, icons, and logo, is protected by intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, distribution, display, or reuse, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization is prohibited.

The photographs and other content that you create or import into the application remain your property. Geode does not claim any ownership rights over such content, except for the limited rights strictly necessary to process it and provide the service.

Nature of the service

Geode provides an automated identification for educational purposes, produced by an artificial intelligence model. The result is a probabilistic hypothesis: it is not a gemmological appraisal, a valuation, or a certificate of authenticity. Several decisive mineralogical tests — hardness, density, reaction to acid, magnetism — cannot be observed in a photograph, which is what the confidence rating shown in the app reflects.

The crystal-lore properties mentioned in the sheets are cultural and traditional in nature. They are in no way medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment, and are no substitute for seeing a doctor.

Liability

We do our best to keep the information accurate and current, without warranting that it is exhaustive. It is your responsibility not to handle, cut, heat, ingest or otherwise use a stone on the strength of an app identification alone: some minerals are toxic, friable, or hazardous to work.

Nor does the application permit or legitimise any collecting: gathering minerals is regulated, and in many protected areas and on private land prohibited.

Governing law and disputes

This notice is governed by French law. If something goes wrong, write to us first at identify-suite@revely.tech — most situations are settled in a couple of messages.

Because the subscription is sold by Apple and Google, refund requests fall under their respective terms.
